The YMCA After School program in Charlottesville City Schools is a safe, fun, nurturing, and dependable enrichment program for CCS students in grades K-6.
This Virginia-licensed child care program is offered on site at all the Charlottesville City Schools elementary & upper elementary schools:

We provide financial assistance for families in our After School program through our sliding-scale fees. All fees except the highest level are subsidized by the YMCA.

***Household income is defined as Adjusted Gross Income for all parties of the household as stated on line 11 on Form 1040 of your tax return.
All our licensed child care programs, including YMCA After School, accept Virginia DSS Child Care Assistance aimed at helping parents who qualify to afford child care. If your annual household income is less than $60,000, you qualify for free or reduced childcare. Other families may qualify depending on family size.

Registration for 2024-25 After School is open. Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis so please register your child as soon as possible. PLEASE NOTE: Paperwork must be complete in CampDoc and reviewed/approved by YMCA staff before the student attends After School.

After you register online, you will receive an email from CampDoc.com to complete the child's participant profile. The student's CampDoc profile must be 100% complete and reviewed/approved by YMCA staff before the student can attend After School.
After the student's CampDoc profile is 100% complete, a YMCA Site Director will review the uploaded documents and reach out to the parent or guardian to set an appropriate start date in the Y After School program.
